When I first tried a SUQQU liquid/cream blusher – I think it might’ve been part of one of their amazing holiday sets – I remember thinking that I really hope they create a permanent line of liquid blushers as their formulas are always such a joy to work with; they give subtle hints of buildable colour that enhances rather than covers, and their shades are also always so beautiful and feminine. So, today I am very happy to talk about the new SUQQU Complexion Face Colors!
The SUQQU Complexion Face Colors are liquid blushers in a range of six, subtle shades (it appears that five are permanent and one – 101 – is limited edition) that come with a doe-foot applicator. The formula itself is creamy, but not greasy, blends like an absolute dream, and you can build the colour until you get both the payoff and finish you want. Interestingly, the formula is very skin-like, so the paler shades work as correctors too – shade 01 is a beautiful lilac and 02 is a very pretty mid-toned pink, and both of these can be used to correct as well as be used as blushers.
The two shades I requested were the aforementioned 02 and 03, the latter of which is more of a peachy pink. I’ve provided dense swatches of both shades to give you an idea of how the colour looks when built up, but they sheer out on the skin to give a barely there, hint of colour that really is just so pretty. My favourite of the two is 02, because I love a baby pink blush, but both shades are very flattering and wearable. Head to my IG to see a video demo.
