Top 25 Beauty Picks of 2025

Estimated reading time: 9 minutes

2025 was a great year for beauty (for me, at least) as I feel like I really got into the swing of things with both skincare and makeup. I have transformed my skincare routine to focus mostly on consistent device use, with fewer actives and prioritising skin barrier health, whilst also doing regular peels that I feel have really helped with shifting my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Makeup has been consistent with some great new favourites, and I feel like I’ve finally mastered the art of powder…it only took 41 years! Here are my top 25 beauty products of 2025:

1. ZIIP HALO – I know, what a surprise! This is the single product that has made the most difference to literally all of my skincare needs. They’ve just launched their 2.0; have a little read of my intro and don’t forget that my code SASCHAZIIP gives you a discount. Read my full review of the 1.0 device here.

2. CurrentBody LED Mask: Series 2 – another shocker, obviously I have to include this as it’s such an integral part of my skincare routine, and I really notice it when I’m less consistent. SASCHABEAUTY gives you a discount here too. Read my detailed review here.

3. Platinum Skincare Mandelic Acid Peel (40%) – PSC has been one of my favourite brands for 2025 and this amazing peel has helped so many of my skincare issues! It’s also surprisingly gentle too.

4. Platinum Skincare Copper SP Serum – my other favourite find from PSC is their copper peptide range, of which I’ve got a few bits now; my favourite is this serum as it’s mixed with BHA, so perfect for those of us who are prone to breakouts; it works really quickly.

5. VT Cosmetics R5 Firming Ampoule – this was an impulse buy during a Superdrug trip, and what a find; deeply hydrating, plumping and gives skin the loveliest non-greasy glow. I’ve since repurchased from StyleKorean since it’s cheaper and if you use code BEAUTYGEEK1 you’ll get an additional discount.

6. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Lift + Sculpt – this quickly became a firm favourite that I stocked up on as it just suits my eyes so well. Read my full review here.

7. Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado – The pot has taken quite a battering! I spent years battling with eye creams and how they affected my makeup, until I found this one and I can’t ever see myself using anything else as a base for eye concealer, which leads me nicely too…

8. Morphe Wakeup Artist Under Eye Correcting Concealer in Blossom – this was another impulse purchase during the aforementioned Superdrug trip that turned out to be a winner; this looks scarily pigmented until you apply it, where it just beautifully corrects any blue tones whilst playing well with all other makeup.

9. Estee Lauder Futurist Soft Touch Brightening Skincealer Concealer in shade 0.5N – this gives the undereyes such a beautiful, blurred finish that’s natural and flattering…also still only £20 at the time of writing!

10. Kayali Musk – this beautiful fragrance stands strong on its own, but I had to include it because it is like the Little Black Dress of fragrance as it literally goes with everything, so this single fragrance can breathe new life into your entire fragrance collection.

11. Kayali Fleur Majesty Rose Royale – this is my go-to, no-brainer, everyday scent that I grab as default; it’s so pretty and feminine without being sickly.

12. Ultra Violette Supreme Screen – this recently came back into my life and reminded me of just how how fabulous a product it is; this was the first sunscreen I ever used that showed me that applying and wearing sunscreen can actually be an enjoyable part of your routine!

13. Missha All Around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel – this is such a bargain find, providing an amazingly hydrating hit of sun protection at an affordable price point, this is almost always on a deal at StyleKorean too.

14. e.l.f. Lash XTNDR Tubing Mascara – this is my absolute favourite mascara and the one I return to again and again. It tubes perfectly but isn’t a pain to remove and gives lashes really good lift and length. I like both shades but I’ve recently been reaching for brown more.

15. NYX Professional Makeup Powder Louder Brow Pencil in shade Taupe – the easiest, laziest way to fill in brows, in an impressive formula that is like a pomade in a pencil.

16. NYX Professional Makeup The Brow Glue Crazy Lift – opinions on this are quite polarised, but I personally love it; love the formula and love the applicator too! Squeeze the gel onto the back of your hand and prime it back into the applicator before applying to the brows, for a smooth and even finish.

17. Boots DermaCare Ceramides Replenishing Mist – I found this whilst trying to hunt down a decent dupe for the discontinued Dr Jart+ Ceramidin Mist and this is absolutely perfect and so cheap too! I get through a bottle a month and use it to layer my skincare.

18. haruharu wonder Black Rice 5 Ceramide Barrier Moisturizing Cream – for my extremely tricky skin, I’m going all-in and saying this is the best moisturiser I have ever used. Rich, non-greasy, doesn’t break me out, plays well with all other skincare and so affordable too! I think I’m now on my 7th or 8th pot.

19. DIOR Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick in shade 0.5N – another impulse purchase (somebody stop me…) this is such an easy product to grab on low maintenance makeup days as it performs like a concealer/foundation hybrid and blends into skin really well with minimal effort.

20. Natasha Denona HY-GLAM foundation in shade N1 – this is one of two fancy pants foundations (the other being Patrick Ta) that I save for days when I want my skin to look absolutely amazing.

21. Vieve Eye Wand in shade Smoke – this is the loveliest and easiest way to get a cool-toned eye look; the shade Smoke is the perfect every day mid-toned ash and the formula is so easy apply and blend, then once in place it stays put until removal time.

22. Mac Pro Long Wear Paint Pot in shade Tailor Grey – I am slowly extending my paint pot collection as I love these base shade/eye primer hybrids. Tailor Grey is a fab starting point for a cool-toned smoky eye.

23. Hildun Beauty Silk to Set Kajal Liner in shade Pecan – I have a few shades of these and I love them all as they are so easy to use. My most reached for shade is Pecan, a lovely mid-to-deep brown that is so flattering and works particularly well on the waterline.

24. Onesize Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray – does exactly what it says on the tin and does it brilliantly too. I cannot stand a matte look, but I need powder for my oily skin; this helps me have my cake and eat it.

25. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Light Catcher in shade Celestial Light – I cannot believe there aren’t more people talking about this stunning powder, that finishes skin with the most beautiful glow. You have to apply sparingly (too much very quickly takes you into Tin Man territory) but this blurs, sets, finishes and adds a convincingly natural glow too. Plus the tub is huge so it’ll last forever!

Thank you so much for reading and please do let me know if you have any questions. I will be sharing more detailed reviews of many of the aforementioned products on both here and my socials (Instagram here and TikTok here) so keep your eyes peeled for those!
